The Mini SAS HD is a next-generation storage interface that addresses multi-channel bandwidth requirements of 24Gb/s while meeting or exceeding SAS 4.0 specifications. Compared to the legacy Mini SAS 2.0 product, the Mini SAS HD product offers greater port density at 11mm port-to-port. The product is fully compliant with industry specifications SFF-8614, SFF-8644, and SFF-8674. External connector configurations of the Mini SAS HD product support 4X external cable assembly solutions, and it has the added system intelligence of EEPROM support.
